Spring is here and so are the latest trends
Pastels: This trend started when Pantone chose the color(s) of the year, Rose Quarts and Serenity. Making this the first year that they picked two colors… it’s easy to see how well they work together to create a pretty and sophisticated living room.
Grey Flooring: Although I still love a dark floor… keeping that cool and airy feel, the newest trend is to bring the grey down to the floors,
Black & White: An all white room is also in style, but adding black as an accent will keep that very clean minimal look. This trend will easily lend to to adding a pop of color if you care to add embellishments.
Mixed Metals: Why used just one type of metal, when you can use all of them. I love mixing silver and gold at Christmas, so why not all year long. Love the examples below with adding copper and sparkles to create an eclectic decor.
Macrame and Hanging Planters: It’s easy to bring a little of the hippie chic into your home with some accents and accessories. We are seeing them this season hanging on the walls and from the ceiling.
Blue & White: One of my favorites… This color combo never goes out of style and always looks pretty and sophisticated.
Ethnic Fabrics & Watercolor Floral’s: Each will bring a pop of color to any room, whether you are using them for accent pillows, drapery, upholstery or bedding.
