Creating amazing Holiday tablescapes – A Style of Your Own

Halloween is over and it is time to put away the ghosts and goblins until next year…..  before you pack away all your decorations, its time to think about the next Autumn holiday and how to express yourself at this years “Feast of All Feasts.”   Yes, Thanksgiving, how would you like your tablescape to look whether or not your hosting this years family event.

5 INEXPENSIVE WAYS TO DECORATE A FABULOUS THANKSGIVING TABLE.

1.  Yes, definitely pack away all the scary or cute Witches, goblins and any goulish masks or black cats, but feel free to keep all the festive orange pumpkins, ghords and candles which can easily be used on your table.

2. Never be afraid to bring the outdoors in…. your yard or any local park are great places to look for fun seasonal decorations such as pinecones, acorns, leaves and even branches to add organic touches to your table.

3.  Pumpkins are great for decorating, they make great vases for a beautiful floral display — whether they are real or you pick up one of the great looking faux pumpkins from a craft store.  Another creative use,  they can be used as risers to vary heights on a serving table, making a really great display for your buffet and to showcase your delicious food.

4.  Decorations made of natural elements like burlap, wood and bark make for a cozy table. Your table should represent your style, if you love Transitional Décor like I do, a neutral table can be gorgeous with a bit of greenery added in.

5.  If your style is nautical,  a great Coastal look always can include some seashells, starfish and sand dollars that you may have collected from your favorite beach spot, as well as using blues in your table display, which represent the water.  These days fall colors are not limited to orange hues anymore – blue, greens, neutral tones, and even black and white can make a stunning tablescape.  Express yourself!

Be creative and think outside of the box. If you have a great table display, feel free to share it with us…
