Color of the Year Pantone

Now that we have cleared the clutter from your home – let’s talk trends for 2017……. starting with Pantone’s color of the year.

Want to add a pop of color or bring the outside in? Pantone’s color of the year, Greenery, will do just that. This color is a fresh and zesty yellow-green shade which “evokes the first days of spring when nature’s greens revive, restore and renew.”

When the experts at Pantone start thinking about the “it” color for the upcoming year, they start by gathering inspiration from the runway.

Wall-coverings Are a great way to spruce up a room by adding some color. If you only want a small dose of color, use it in the back of a built-in, or apply it one wall. This will create a focal wall in any room.

Greenery in plants, is on trend by bringing the outside in. It is an nonrestrictive way to use it as an accent, especially if you are one that likes to change up your home with the seasons. Pairing it with lighter colors will allow the green to pop, giving it a nice, crisp, clean look.

To help you integrate some greenery into your home, here are some color combinations provided by Pantone using Greenery. We love “Forest Floor” and “Fathomless”.
